History & Significance

Minymaku Platform is a local scenic viewpoint in the MacDonnell Ranges, part of the traditional lands of the Aranda people. The platform provides views across the West MacDonnell Range landscape significant to Indigenous culture and local tourism.

Getting There

Located in the MacDonnell Ranges west of Alice Springs, NT. Access via West MacDonnell Drive from Alice Springs (approximately 25 km). Standard 2WD vehicle access.

Small informal parking area. Free parking. Limited capacity (approximately 5-10 vehicles). No formal facilities.
