About London Arch
London Arch, formerly known as London Bridge, is a natural limestone arch that dramatically collapsed in January 1990 when its landward span fell into the sea, stranding two tourists on the isolated outer section. The remaining arch still stands as a striking coastal feature just off the Great Ocean Road. It serves as a vivid reminder of the ongoing geological processes shaping this coastline.
