About Deep Creek Conservation Park
The largest conservation park on the Fleurieu Peninsula, Deep Creek protects rugged coastal cliffs, dense native mallee scrub, and dramatic valleys that drop to secluded beaches on the Southern Ocean. The park is a stronghold for southern brown bandicoots, pygmy possums, and southern hairy-nosed wombats. It is also one of the best places on the mainland to see whales from shore (June–October).
