From Echo Point, visitors command views across the Jamison Valley to the Three Sisters, the region's most recognisable landmark. Walks & Trails

The trail network around Katoomba ranges from short scenic walks to full-day adventures. Three Sisters Track is the most popular route, while Federal Pass Walking Track offers an easy 0.5km option for those with limited time. Other excellent walks include Prince Henry Cliff Walk, Katoomba Falls Round Walk, and Scenic Walkway. For longer treks, try Dardanelles Pass, Yellow Robin Link, Lilli Pilli Link, Underfalls Walk, Entry, Exit, or Reid's Plateau.

Camping

Campers have plenty of options within easy reach. KCC Camp Site and Katoomba Falls Tourist Park are just 2km away, while the Jamison Valley backcountry offers more remote experiences at Jamison Valley Gully Camp, Jamison Valley Forest Camp, Jamison Valley South Camp, and Jamison Valley Ridge Campsite. Other backcountry options include Miners Campsite, Prince Henry Cliff Camping Area, Ruined Castle campsite, and Wentworth Falls Bush Camp.

Attractions & Things to See

The visitor centre sits metres from Echo Point Lookout, one of Australia's most photographed vistas. Nearby lookouts include Kedumba View, Lady Darley Lookout, Lady Game Lookout, Oreades Lookout, Allambie Lookout, and Honeymoon Lookout. The Three Sisters rock formation, visible from multiple vantage points, is the centrepiece of the landscape.

Golf

Leura Golf Course is 4km away, with Wentworth Falls Country Club at 9km and Blackheath Golf Course at 11km for those wanting a round in the mountains.

Wineries & Cellar Doors

Dryridge Estate is 9km south, and Megalong Creek Estate is 10km away for those interested in local cool-climate wines.
