About the Darren Smith Memorial Route

Darren Smith, an Olympic cyclist, was tragically killed when he was struck by a vehicle while training in 1992. The Darren Smith Memorial Route is named in his honour and runs along the coast between Point Danger, Coolangatta and Paradise Point.
