History & Significance
Sea Acres is a coastal rainforest reserve protecting one of the few remaining subtropical rainforest pockets on the NSW mid-north coast. The centre was established to preserve this unique ecosystem and provide visitor education about rainforest ecology and local biodiversity.
Getting There
Located at Port Macquarie on the Mid North Coast of NSW. Pacific Drive is accessible via the Pacific Highway. Nearest major town is Port Macquarie, approximately 2 hours north of Newcastle.
Parking
Free parking available on-site. Accessible parking spaces provided near the visitor centre. Generally adequate capacity for day visitors, though can fill during school holidays and weekends.
