About this campsite
This free campsite in the High Plains area of Kosciuszko National Park offers tent and camper trailer sites with toilets, barbecue facilities, and picnic tables, though you'll need to bring your own drinking water and firewood. Access roads are closed during winter (June to October long weekends), and a $6 booking fee applies despite the free camping. The campground is pet friendly and sits near the turquoise Blue Waterholes waterhole, with excellent access to Clarke Gorge and Nichols Gorge walking tracks in the park's northern wilderness.
