Walks & Trails
The area is a trail walker's paradise with over a dozen routes within striking distance. Close to town are Paul Peril, Original Recipe, Esses, Mundowie Trail, Auto Alley, GC Mile Trail, Twisted Sister, and the MTB Loop for mountain bikers. Further afield, the Adelong Falls Mine Trail is an easy walk through gold mining heritage, while Blowering Cliffs Walk offers panoramic views and dramatic terrain.
Camping
Caravan and camper travellers have excellent options nearby. Reflections Tumut River is just 1km from town, while Blowering Caravan Park sits 8km away. For bush camping, Log Bridge Creek Campground and The Pines Campground are free options, with additional facilities at Blowering Dam Campsite and Jones Bridge Camp Site.
Golf
Tumut Golf Course is just 2km from town, with Adelong Golf Course 13km away. Regional players can also access Batlow Golf Course, Gundagai Golf Club, and Talbingo Country Club for a longer touring loop.
