About this campsite
This free campsite in Kosciuszko National Park's High Plains area offers toilets, barbecue facilities and picnic tables, with unmarked unpowered sites suitable for tents and camper trailers. Located near Blue Waterholes on the Cooleman Plain Karst system, it's an excellent base for exploring nearby caves, gorges and walking tracks, plus you may spot eastern grey kangaroos and native birds around the campground. Note that access roads close during winter (June to October long weekends), there's limited mobile reception, and a $6 booking fee applies despite free camping.
