About Walpole-Nornalup National Park
Walpole-Nornalup National Park protects some of [Western Australia](/au/places/wa/western-australia)'s most magnificent ancient forest, including towering red tingle trees (Eucalyptus jacksonii), karri, marri, and peppermint trees, as well as sheltered inlets, ocean beaches, and coastal heathlands. The park is home to the [Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk](/au/attractions/wa/valley-of-the-giants-tree-top-walk) and encompasses the Walpole Wilderness Area — one of Australia's largest wilderness regions. Nornalup Inlet provides a beautiful waterway for canoeing and kayaking.
