Getting There

Ingham is the gateway township, located 180 km north of Townsville on the Bruce Highway. Wallaman Falls is 51 km west of Ingham via the Macknade-Trebonne Road.

Parking

Free parking available at main access points including Wallaman Falls car park and Jourama Falls car park. Limited capacity at popular falls; arrive early during peak times. Standard accessible parking spaces available. Overflow parking options limited in remote sections—plan ahead during school holidays and weekends.

Visitor Tips

  • Combine Wallaman Falls with the Jourama Falls section near Stone River, 24 km north of Ingham off the Bruce Highway. Both offer swimming and camping. The hike to the base of Wallaman Falls is challenging but rewarding.
