Ouse River Wines

Ouse River Wines is based in Ouse, a small township in central Tasmania, roughly 50 kilometres north of Hobart. The winery takes its name from the River Ouse, which winds through the region and lends its character to this cool-climate corner of the state.

Getting There

Ouse sits along the Midland Highway (A1), making it straightforward to reach by car from Hobart. The drive north takes you through Tasmania's central midlands, a stretch of open pastoral country that's a pleasant journey in its own right. The area is caravan-friendly with reasonable road access, so travelling with a larger vehicle shouldn't pose any difficulties.
