About Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk
The Valley of the Giants [Tree Top Walk](/au/trails/nsw/tree-top-walk) is a 600-metre elevated walkway through the forest canopy of [Walpole-Nornalup National Park](/au/national-parks/wa/walpole-nornalup-national-park), reaching 40 metres above the ground among the ancient tingle trees — one of the world's largest trees by girth. The trees, including the red tingle (Eucalyptus jacksonii), are unique to a small area of southwest WA and can be up to 400 years old with hollowed fire-scarred bases large enough to stand inside. The Ancient Empire ground walk at the base adds further perspective.
