About Natural Bridge (Springbrook)

The [Natural Bridge](/au/places/qld/natural-bridge) is a spectacular basalt rock arch carved by a waterfall cascading through the roof of a cave in [Springbrook National Park](/au/national-parks/qld/springbrook-national-park), creating a magical grotto inhabited by thousands of glow-worms (Arachnocampa flava). The arch spans a pool at the base of the waterfall, and at night the cave ceiling twinkles with bioluminescent glow-worm light in one of Queensland's most unique natural experiences. The site is part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area.
