History & Significance
Lawsons Lookout is a local scenic viewpoint in the Blue Mountains region, named after William Lawson, one of the European explorers who crossed the Blue Mountains in 1813. The lookout provides views across the mountainous landscape that early explorers would have traversed.
Getting There
Located near Blackheath in the Blue Mountains, approximately 2 hours west of Sydney via the M4 and Great Western Highway. Accessible by car; no public transport to the lookout itself.

Free parking available at the lookout. Limited spaces; arrive early during peak times. Suitable for standard vehicles and caravans depending on access road conditions.
