About this campsite
This remote campground in the Grose Valley Wilderness near Blackheath offers 30 unpowered tent sites nestled amongst blue gum forest, with basic toilet facilities and no vehicle access—a 3 to 4 hour walk from the nearest carpark is required. It's an excellent base for birdwatchers and overnight walkers, with the nearby Blue Gum Forest attracting kestrels, wedge-tailed eagles and other wildlife. There are no camping fees, though a $6 booking fee applies, and you'll need to carry in all water, food and supplies while taking all rubbish out.
