History & Significance
Corroboree Rock is a significant Aboriginal cultural site with sacred songlines and Dreaming stories connected to the landscape. The distinctive rock formation has long been an important landmark and gathering place in the MacDonnell Ranges region.
Getting There
Located approximately 50 km south of Alice Springs via Ross Highway. Well-signposted turnoff, short drive to carpark. No public transport available.
Parking
Free gravel carpark at base of lookout. Limited capacity (approximately 15-20 vehicles). No sealed surface, accessible for standard vehicles in dry conditions. No designated accessible parking facilities.
