Getting There

Drive 85 km east of Armidale via Waterfall Way. Point Lookout is at the end of Point Lookout Road, 14 km south of Ebor. Armidale is 570 km north of Sydney.

Parking

Free parking at Point Lookout and Cascades trailheads. Point Lookout car park is accessible and well-maintained. Limited capacity at some trailheads; arrive early during weekends and school holidays. No sealed overflow parking noted.

Visitor Tips

  • Point Lookout gives one of the finest escarpment panoramas in NSW, visible to the Pacific Ocean. Visit at dawn for a spectacular view over the coastal fog.
