Walks & Trails

Dozens of trails are accessible from Axedale, mostly within 25–30 minutes' drive. Easy walks include Meaker Track, Lagoon Walk, and Wattle Gully Walk. For longer hikes, try Foleys Crossing, Wattle Drive, or the scenic arcade walks: Backhouse Arcade, Abott Arcade, and Limerick Arcade. Mountain bikers will find Cavagna Road MTB track within striking distance.

Camping

Caravan parks and bush camps dot the region. Lakeshore Caravan Park and Toolleen Spur Bush Camp are just 7km away, while Lake Eppalock Holiday Park and Moorabbee Lodge Caravan Park offer more facilities 14km out.
