About This Trail
The Dean Nicolle Eucalypt Walk is the first section of the proposed Wool Rail Trail. This short section has been extensively revegetated using hundreds of eucalypts to return the rail corridor to its former habitat. This section of the Wool Rail Trail has been named the Dean Nicolle Eucalypt Walk. Hundreds of eucalypts have been planted to re-vegetate the rail corridor. Many have identifying signs to highlight different species. Dean Nicolle Eucalypt Walk is a pleasant ride or walk from Harley St., Blyth, adjacent to the old Blyth Railway Station precinct.
