The ridge runs for approximately 11km with a series of rocky peaks, saddles, and cliff faces offering outstanding views over the Yea River Valley. Getting There
From Melbourne, take the Maroondah Highway (B360) north through Healesville to Yea, then south on the Old Maroondah Highway. Turn onto Cathedral Lane near Taggerty. Approximately 130km from Melbourne.
Visitor Tips
- •The South Cathedral walk (7km return) to the summit is the best day walk with the most dramatic views. Cooks Mill campground is a good base for a weekend. Check conditions — the ridge is very exposed in wind and storms.
