About Ewens Ponds Conservation Park
Three crystal-clear spring-fed ponds connected by a short stream and flowing into the Southern Ocean, Ewens Ponds is one of Australia's best snorkelling and diving sites with visibility exceeding 10m in the main ponds. The ponds support rare aquatic plants and the snorkelling drift — carried by the strong artesian flow between the three ponds — is a uniquely exhilarating experience. The constant water temperature is around 17–18°C.
