About this campsite
Chookarloo Campground is a caravan park set in natural Eucalypt woodland within Kuitpo Forest in the Mount Lofty Ranges, featuring 23 designated camping sites with timber shelters, fire pits, picnic tables, and a hybrid toilet system with disability access. The campground is open from April 1 to November 30 annually, with wood fires permitted from May 1 to October 31, and visitors have access to the Chookarloo Walk (1km loop trail) and the Heysen Trail. All bookings must be made online in advance, with fees charged per vehicle, and a maximum of 10 people permitted per campsite.
