About this campsite
This remote walk-in campground in Wollemi National Park is accessible only via a roughly 10km walk from Glen Davis along Pipeline track, with no vehicle access due to road collapse and landslip risk at Wolgan Gap. The campsite offers basic facilities including toilets, unpowered and unmarked sites, and barbecue facilities, and is situated on a grassy, flat area beside the Wolgan River with dramatic sandstone cliffs as a backdrop. Campers must be fully self-sufficient, bringing all drinking water, cooking water, firewood and food supplies, and there are nearby historic shale oil ruins and walking tracks to explore.
