About this campsite
This campground sits on the banks of the Cotter River near its confluence with the Murrumbidgee River, just 14 kilometres from Weston Creek Shopping Centre, and is the most highly serviced bush campground in the ACT. It caters for all camping styles from swags to large vans and offers facilities including hot showers, flushing toilets, dishwashing facilities, gas and wood barbecues, drinking water, covered picnic tables, and wheelchair access, with camping areas allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The location provides easy access to walking trails, wildlife viewing, fishing, swimming and canoeing, as well as nearby attractions including Cotter Dam, Namadgi National Park, Stromlo Forest Park and Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve.
