Getting There

Drive 620 km north of Sydney via Pacific Highway. Access the park from Evans Head (south) or Iluka (north). Iluka is 10 km off the Pacific Highway near Grafton.

Parking

Free parking at main access points including Woody Head, Black Rocks, and Broadwater camping areas. Capacity varies by location; popular spots can fill during school holidays and weekends. Some beach sections accessible only by 4WD; check conditions before driving on sand. Accessibility varies—inquire at entry points.

Visitor Tips

  • Woody Head campground is one of the finest headland camping spots in NSW — book ahead in school holidays. The Iluka Rainforest boardwalk (2 km) is an easy highlight of the northern section.
