The cellar door is open seven days a week from 10:00am to 5:00pm, making it easy to factor into a Hunter Valley itinerary without needing to plan around limited trading hours.

Getting There

Oakvale is located at 1596 Broke Road, Pokolbin — a well-travelled route through the Hunter Valley wine region. From Newcastle, the drive takes approximately two hours. The broader Pokolbin area is accessible for caravans, though if you're travelling with a larger vehicle it's worth checking on-site parking suitability before arriving. Those coming from Sydney should allow around two and a half hours depending on traffic.
