About Beauchamp Falls

Beauchamp Falls is a secluded multi-tiered cascade on Beauchamp Creek in the Otway Ranges, reached via a steep 2km return walk through dense fern-filled gullies. The falls are less visited than nearby Hopetoun Falls, lending them a sense of discovery and solitude. The approach walk passes through one of the finest examples of Otway cool temperate rainforest.

Getting to Beauchamp Falls

From Beech Forest, take the Aire Valley Road south. The car park for Beauchamp Falls is signposted on the right, approximately 5km from Beech Forest.

Tips for visiting Beauchamp Falls

Combine with Hopetoun Falls (nearby) for back-to-back waterfall walks. Bring leech socks or wear gaiters in wet conditions. The best photographic position is from the rocky viewpoint at the base of the lower tier.
