Curtis Falls is a pretty 20-metre waterfall in the Joalah section of Mount Tamborine National Park, reached by a short walk through subtropical rainforest. The falls drop into a clear plunge pool surrounded by ancient fig trees and lush vegetation, creating a peaceful and photogenic escape close to the Gold Coast. The walk is suitable for all fitness levels and is one of the most accessible rainforest experiences in south-east Queensland.

Getting to Curtis Falls

From Gold Coast take the Pacific Motorway north then west via Oxenford to Mount Tamborine. The Joalah section of the national park is accessed via Dapsang Drive off Eagle Heights Road.
