History & Significance

Fitzroy Falls is a natural waterfall in the Southern Highlands region, named after the Fitzroy family who were early landholders in the area. The falls descend approximately 81 metres into a scenic valley and are a popular local attraction. The surrounding area is part of the broader Highlands landscape shaped by geological formations and eucalypt forest.

Getting There

Located near Bowral in the Southern Highlands, approximately 2 hours south-west of Sydney. Access via Nowra Road from Bowral township. No public transport available; private vehicle essential.
