The Understory, Art In Nature Trail starts right at the visitor centre, combining bushwalking with outdoor art installations. Nearby, Supply Dam Road and Smiths Road offer easy forest walks within 4km. For longer hikes, the 2009 Karri Cup Circuit and Karri Cup 2012 are 16km away, with the Lane Poole Falls track and Mt Chudalup Summit Walk Trail offering scenic options further afield. For a challenging day trip, the Gloucester Route reaches the dramatic Gloucester Tree at 26km away.
