About This Trail
The Lockington and district community aim to establish an 8 km shared path in the disused rail corridor on the west side of Lockington Rd Do you know of a bike hire or transportation service on this rail trail that should appear here? To contact us about this rail trail, email vic@railtrails.org.au This proposed rail trail is on a part of the old branch line corridor that branched off at Elmore on the main Bendigo to Echuca Line. The line ran north and terminated at Cohuna. The line was opened in 1915 and closed in 1981. The line has since been completely dismantled.
