About This Trail

At 22 km long, with a flat gradient and a town at each end, this will be an ideal rail trail for day trippers. Public transport available at each end of the trail, and the mighty Murray River to explore at the Koondrook end. Discover the old award winning Koondrook wharf, which was a hive of activity in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s as the many river boats connected Koondrook with the many river communities further north The Koondrook Riverfront also includes the meticulously restored Goods Shed, operating historic Arbuthnot Sawmills, Goanna Walking Track, playground, boat ramp and links to the Redgum Footbridge and Koondrook Retreat.
