About This Trail

The Liffey Falls trail takes you past one of the state’s most attractive cascading waterfalls. The trail can be walked from either the upper car park, where there are picnic tables, toilets and water, or the lower car park, which is essentially just a trailhead. The lower end of the trail is narrower but well formed and follows the route of an old tramway used for timber hauling in the early 1900s. The falls are reached via a gravel road with sharp bends. Take care on this road. Do you know of a bike hire or transportation service on this rail trail that should appear here? If so, let us know at admin@railtrails.org.au.
