History & Significance

The Hornsby District War Memorial was established in 1923 to honour local residents who served in World War I. It has since been updated to also commemorate those who died in World War II and subsequent conflicts. The memorial stands as a focal point for the Hornsby community's remembrance of its fallen service members.
