History & Significance

Byrock Railway Station was built as part of the railway line serving the western NSW mining region. The station operated during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, supporting local industry and transport. Today it stands as a ruin, representing the region's railway heritage and the boom-and-bust cycles of outback settlement.
