This campsite is nestled within the world heritage-listed wet tropics rainforest approximately 12km north of Paluma township, offering a biologically diverse rainforest environment for campers and day visitors. There are 23 campsites available (a mixture of large, double, and single sites) with bookings essential through the online system, and you can stay up to 12 consecutive nights. Access to Lake Paluma via Mount Spec Road currently requires a permit arrangement with TMR, which can be applied for by contacting the Northern District team.
