This campsite in Diamantina National Park sits beside Mundawerra Waterhole on the Diamantina River and offers facilities including non-flush toilets, tent and caravan camping, with campfires allowed under conditions. The area is known for excellent fishing and birdwatching opportunities, plus canoeing and kayaking on the river, with spectacular sunsets reflecting off the water. Access requires high clearance 4WD vehicles, and the park is temporarily closed from 1 January to 31 March 2026 due to severe weather impacts.
