About this campsite
This 20-site campground sits behind the dunes at Samurai Beach in Tomaree National Park near Port Stephens, offering unpowered tent and camper trailer sites accessible by 4WD vehicle only. The campground is clothing-optional, as is the nearby Samurai Beach which is popular for surfing, with One Mile Beach a scenic 1-hour walk away and excellent walking tracks including Tomaree Head Summit nearby. There are no camping fees (though a $6 booking fee applies), and you'll need to bring your own water, cooking fuel, and portable toilet.
