About this campsite
McIntyres is a free riverside campsite in Brindabella National Park near Uriarra, set along the Goodradigbee River among eucalypts on grassy river flats. The campground offers basic facilities including toilets and unpowered sites, and is ideal for fishing, picnicking near the historic McIntyres Hut, or a back-to-basics overnight stay with opportunities to spot kangaroos and wallabies. Note that high clearance 4WD vehicle access is required, the site is unsuitable for trailers, drinking water must be brought, and mobile reception is very limited.
