Kingsland Camping is a 64-hectare private campsite on Cotswold Road nestled on the side of Mt Maroon in the Scenic Rim, surrounded by Mt Barney National Park with abundant wildlife including koalas, wallabies and native birds. The site is positioned at the start of the Mt Maroon climb and offers family-friendly camping with easy terrain for first-timers, though note that there are no showers or potable water on the property so you'll need to bring your own supplies. Campfires are permitted when restrictions aren't in place, and the area offers access to nearby Lake Moogara and Maroon Dam for water activities.
