About this campsite
This remote bush campsite in Mount Barney National Park sits in the saddle between Mount May's north and south peaks and offers three walk-in tent sites with a maximum capacity of 6 people. Access requires either a 3-hour walk from Mount May camping reserve or a 1-hour steep walk with rock scrambling via the south-western ridge from Waterfall Creek Road. The site has no facilities, so campers must be completely self-sufficient with their own water, fuel stoves only (no open fires), and pack out all rubbish.
