About this campsite
Heartbreak Hill is a remote campground in the northern precinct of Parr State Conservation Area, accessed via steep walking trails from either Webbs Creek Road (15km) or Putty Road (30km) that require a good level of fitness. The campground offers unpowered, unmarked sites with non-flush toilets, fire rings, and picnic tables, though water is not available on-site so you'll need to carry drinking water from the park entrance. This backcountry camping spot is best visited in autumn or spring, and visitors should be well-prepared with appropriate clothing, equipment, and supplies before heading into this remote location.
