About this campsite
This bush camping area is located in shady spots beside waterholes along the Paroo River in Currawinya National Park, offering swimming, fishing, canoeing, birdwatching and bushwalking. The campsite has open camping areas on sand and dirt surfaces with picnic tables, pit toilets, and allows campfires (conditions apply), though you'll need to bring at least seven litres of drinking water per person per day as local water isn't suitable for drinking. Access is by 4WD vehicle only in dry weather, with sites suitable for tent camping, camper trailers, caravans and motorhomes.
