About this campsite

Caiwarro Waterhole is a bush camping area in Currawinya National Park, located approximately 41.5km north east of the ranger station beside waterholes along the Paroo River, accessible by 4WD vehicle in dry weather only. The camping area offers shady sites suitable for tent camping, camper trailers, caravans and motorhomes, with open fires allowed (conditions apply) and facilities for swimming, fishing, canoeing, birdwatching and bushwalking. Note that there are no on-site facilities, so you'll need to bring at least seven litres of drinking water per person per day, as local water is not suitable for drinking.
