About Wallaman Falls
Wallaman Falls is Australia's highest permanent single-drop waterfall, plunging approximately 268 metres into a deep gorge in Girringun National Park west of Ingham. The falls cascade off the Seaview Range escarpment, fed by permanent rainforest streams, and are spectacular year-round but particularly dramatic during and after the wet season. The lookout above the falls provides breathtaking views over the gorge, while a steep walking track descends to the base of the falls through lush vegetation.
