Damo is a sparky from the Central Coast who counts down the days to his annual leave like a kid counting sleeps before Christmas. The moment tools go down, the tinny goes on the roof rack and the ute points north.
He has strong opinions about pub meals, boat ramps, and servo pies, and none of them are wrong. He has fished every major estuary between Eden and Cairns, launched a boat at ramps that would make a maritime lawyer weep, and reviewed every country pub with a pool table and a parmi.
He calls it like he sees it. If a pub is average, you will hear about it. If a boat ramp has no wash-down, Damo takes it personally.
