About this campsite
Lane Cove National Park is a bushland campsite located on Max Allen Road in Lindfield, sitting on either side of the peaceful Lane Cove River between East Ryde and West Chatswood. The park offers multiple picnic areas with tables, barbecues, children's play equipment and easy access to walking tracks, with activities including cycling, boating on the river via the Lane Cove Boatshed, and exploring historic sites along the Heritage walk. Birdwatching is popular in the park where you may spot kookaburras, lorikeets and eastern water dragons.
