About this campsite
This riverside campsite sits on 150 hectares in the foothills of the Barrington Tops National Park, about 24 kilometres north of Dungog in the Hunter Valley. Ferndale Camping Area offers camping and caravan sites with hot showers and flush toilets maintained daily, plus the option of open campfires (subject to fire ban conditions). The site is pet-friendly, accessible by 2WD vehicle, and located just three hours from Sydney and under 1.5 hours from Newcastle.
