This free campsite is located on the banks of the Kangaroo River, about 150 kilometres south of Sydney, and is accessible by 2WD vehicles. Bendeela offers toilet facilities and welcomes pets, with the front camping area open year-round and the rear area available during school holidays and weekends from October to March. Popular activities include swimming, canoeing, fishing and wildlife spotting, though all campers must have a valid booking and should check the website before visiting as the site may close during high rainfall.
